GC application, KYC and FFS - 23/8 update

Building Fantasy Monster has been a long process (we started work on the platform 12 months ago) and there’s still some way to go before we reach the point we want to reach.

Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) will be the core of Fantasy Monster and this requires us to be licensed by the Gambling Commission in the UK. We have been in dialogue with the GC for the last few months and are hopeful of an outcome on our application soon.

Users of Fantasy Football Scotland (our first product as a company that has been running for the last two seasons) will have already received a taste of how Fantasy Monster will feel and operate when it is live and operational.

We completely rebuilt the Fantasy Football Scotland platform for the 22/23 season with the game now ready for the integration of DFS contests. Our system is extremely sophisticated and the back end is already in place to support Fantasy Monster.

Speaking generally, the success of Fantasy Football Scotland has provided a lot of experience to the Fantasy Monster team. We have made mistakes, and will continue to do so, but we will always try to learn from them. This is key to building the best platform possible.

At this specific moment in time, we are working on integrating KYC into Fantasy Monster. This will allow us to verify the identity of our users in both Fantasy Monster and Fantasy Football Scotland moving forward. This is an important part of the platform.

Things are currently moving at a rapid pace with work being done on the platform every day. Check back soon for our next update!
